How can I find a new job if I don’t know what I want to do?
I really want to get a new job because I hate my current job. I’m not happy and I think if I stay any longer, I’m going to get depression. The people in my job are very ghetto and not classy and I am not learning anything in my job. I want a new job but I don’t know what I want to do. I know I don’t want any clerical, data entry, and administrative assistant jobs. If only 20%-30% of my job is to deal with paper or data entry, it’s fine. I’m okay with customer service and phone skills. I kind of like analyzing reports and I’m okay with math. I also have good photos/pictures memory. I don’t like route work. In addition, I okay in interpersonal and communication skills. I don’t like route work. Can any one help me? What kind of job should I get? I have taken many career tests online but each test says different things. Thanks a bunch.
Night auditor in a hotel. It may fit in with your likes and is a somewhat professional job. You don’t need any special training and it is an excellent place to do some homework while you go to college or sit around and stare at your navel. Not a lot of interaction but lots of time for introspection so you can figure out what you really want to do with your life.
