administrative law exam
Please help me think of a good job!?

I have a degree in Elementary Education and three years experience teaching public school. I passed the certification exam for middle grades math (grades 6-9) but no schools in my area are hiring right now. I need a job NOW, and I never really loved teaching anyway because the pay is so low.

I have experience working in a law office and construction office as an administrative assistant, but they make even less money than teachers.

I have been trying to sell wall murals and paintings, because I love art, but it is not turning out to be profitable. Does anyone have an idea for a daytime job in Central Florida that would allow me to combine my interests & education?

What else can a person do with a B.A. in Education???
Thanks, but I have 2 mortgages, insurance, and property taxes to pay. If I just stick to my passion, I’ll end up bankrupt and homeless for sure.

That’s a great question. Welcome to the real world, Zza Zza. Have you thought of commission sales or real estate?
You can always study computers part-time.
What about starting your own business? If you like kids, you could start a day-care center. You may not make a fortune but you would work for yourself.
What about a career counselor?
Employment agency?
If you need money now, you might try waitressing in a top-flight restaurant. You can make surprisingly good money in the expensive establishments
Rest assured you will never be tested beyond the range of your abilities. IF YOU FAIL IT WILL BE BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT APPLIED YOURSELF FULLY TO THE TASK AT HAND.
